Binghams Farm offers a
fantastic location. On one hand both Roe Barn, Buzzards Swoop and Bluebell Cottage sit
in the beautiful, quiet Brit Valley in the heart of West Dorset, an area
of outstanding natural beauty. On the other both the dramatic Jurassic
Coast and the thriving market town of Bridport, made famous by the River
Cottage TV series, are within a 5 minute car or bus ride, or indeed can
be walked. Previously a dairy farm, Binghams Farm is
set out in glorious
countryside and so provides a quiet haven for those wishing to get away
from it all.
Roe Barn is a beautifully
converted old hay barn and accommodates up to six guests.
Exposed beams and stonework blend great character with state of the
art heating and fixtures.
With an enclosed sunny
garden Bluebell Cottage is a beautifully restored stone terrace at
the end of 3 former farm workers cottages. Sleeping up to 5 people
your comfort is assured with a woodburner, slate floor and newly
fitted modern kitchen whilst the bedrooms enjoy fabulous views.
Buzzards
Swoop benefits from a new garden room facing east onto the
enclosed sunny garden. This property sleeps up to 4 people
with new bathroom and modern feactures including a woodburning
stove.
This is a great environment for
anyone who loves the outdoors. Guests are free to walk in the paddock
and orchard or on the dog walk trail around the wood. Access to the
public Brit Valley footpath is gained through our friends neighbouring
fields with several pubs and Bridport within reach.
All cottages are available to let on a weekly friday to friday
basis with electricity, bed linen, and logs for the woodburners included. Prices range from
£245 off-peak per unit to £745 in high season.
We welcome children and pets and
there is a 'jungle gym' on the dog walk.
